I’ve been watching this pop-top come to fruition over the past several months. What started as a small, outdated home has transformed into a modern home that incorporates a layout and design that appeals to many of today’s buyers.
While the layout and floor plan are great, there are a couple problems I see with this listing: The overall aesthetic of the home definitely swings modern, yet the slab granite used throughout is decidedly classic and doesn’t fit with the rest of the home. Unfortunately, the seller also would also benefit from a bit more thought put into fencing and landscaping. As it stands now, the backyard is simply open to the rear alley and offers little to no privacy. Lastly, in my opinion, the house is a bit overpriced. The closest comp that was very siy milar in aesthetic, finishes, square feet, and beds and baths, sold for $712,500. I think this seller may need to do a price drop soon. Other than that, it’s a great house!
